Jorjin, an AR technology company, developed a new AR headset. To showcase its potential, they needed a futuristic, eye-catching design. The challenge was to create a housing that not only demonstrated the technology but also pushed the boundaries of AR headset design, making it something partners and customers could be excited by.
I led the design and development of the reference housing, from initial concept to final prototype. The result was a sleek, lightweight headset that highlighted the power of Jorjin's optical engine and creating a unique idea for what an AR experience could be.
The result was shown at Ars Electronica 2022, where it was nominated for the Golden Pin Design Award and garnered over 71,000 views on the company's website/socials.
